About Fin Free Thailand

Fin Free Thailand is committed to preserving the shark population in Thai waters and beyond. We are a community + business movement dedicated to ending the sale and consumption of shark fin soup. We work with hotels and restaurants to spread awareness, and encourage them to join our shark conservation campaign by stopping the sales of shark fin soup and other

unsustainable seafood.

Part of the global Fin Free movement, Fin Free Thailand was initiated in 2013 by Love Wildlife Foundation and FREELAND Foundation with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

We bring together local communities, divers, schools, businesses and policy makers to promote sustainable + ethical practices in tourism and hospitality. Join us in our efforts to protect these keystone species and preserve the balance of our oceans.
